IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST, a non-profit organization, released thousands of emails today, some of which link Jeb Bush, Susana Martinez, and Hanna Skandera.
According to a Washington Post report, many of the emails go back and forth between Bush's private education reform foundation, Gov. Martinez, and Secretary of Education-designee Skandera.
What's the issue?
According to the emails, Bush's private foundation appears to be helping the governor and secretary-designee write New Mexico's education reform regulations, as well as draft education reform legislation, which may financially benefit private, for-profit, out-of-state corporations.
If the emails are not bogus, they will go a long way in helping to explain why the governor and and secretary-designee's education reform regulations and proposed legislation make no sense.
