Enroll TODAY in AFT NM Summer School!

As the end of the year approaches, I want to thank you for the many hours you work to provide quality public education at every level for our students in New Mexico.

And, even though it will soon be summer break, we know as educators, you’re always looking for meaningful professional development to ensure you are the best possible educator for your students.

To help you achieve that goal, AFT NM is launching its first-ever “Summer School” as part of our annual summer leadership retreat.

We are inviting you to sign up for a FREE one-day series of professional development courses ranging from workshops on better classroom management to learning about basic first aid and CPR certification.

Other classes cover issues related to attacks on the rights of women, to the rights of our immigrant students, and a conversation about how we can best serve our Native American students in New Mexico.

Whether you are an early educator, classified employee, K-12 teacher, or work in higher education, there are diverse options for everyone and every interest!

You can read (and download!) the entire course catalogue HERE.

We encourage you to take part and join us on June 26th at Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino for this day of FREE professional development for active AFT NM members. (Non-AFT NM members may sign-up and participate for a $250 registration fee.)

Enroll TODAY by clicking this link – registration ends on June 7th!

Please call AFT NM at 505-266-6638 if you have any questions.

In solidarity,

Stephanie Ly
