State government is ot of control. State lawmakers are using our taxpayer money to fund private corporations instead of funding education and other public services. Our state lawmakers are using the recession to justify cuts to education. At the same time, lawmakers are using our money - our taxpayer money - to make us all pay for corporate tax welfare.  It's time for state lawmakers to be responsible and stop spending taxpayer money at the expense of education and our jobs. It's time for state senators and state representatives to stop gaming the budget process to hurt education and working famiies.

Lawmakers must:
- Repeal tax breaks for large corporations that are costing the state hundreds of millions in lost revenue for public education.
- Repeal tax breaks for the rich and use that money to fund public services.
- Stop stockpiling federal stimulus money for education into the state's cash reserves.
- Spend President Obama's stimulus money for education as intended, to backfill education cuts, prevent future cuts, and save and create public school jobs.
- Backfill the 10.8% cut made to public education and restore the per pupil funding for our schools.
- Stop using taxpayer money to give real estate corporations huge tax breaks called Tax Increment Development Districts.
